1. In the culture  foreign cultures,someone needs to understand well the cultures to avoid cultural conficts.But, many people are failed to understand the values and customs of foreign cultures.According to your own idea,please explain what do you need to have to understand foreign cultures in order to avoid cultural conflicts ?

Answer                                :

Cultural exchange is a very possible thing to happen because anyone who comes from a country or region will certainly not be separated from the culture in which he was born and raised, but today, along with globalization, it cannot stop the entry of other cultures or foreign cultures but as a nation. who has an identity must be able to maintain the noble culture itself. Acculturation is the entry of foreign cultures but not leaving one's own culture. To avoid cultural conflict itself, it is necessary to realize that the occurrence of foreign culture does not mean that we are leaving our own culture and customs in this era of globalization, and in my opinion what needs to be done to understand foreign culture in order to avoid cultural conflict is filtering or filtering foreign cultures. which one deserves to be used as a style or benchmark in life as well as mentally applying that difference is not something that needs to be questioned, respecting differences as an example of a good Indonesian culture.

2. How do you define your local cultural is different from foreign cultural ? Do you think local and foreign cultures need to be integrated ? Please provide your reasons .

Answer                                :

The way I define local culture is different from foreign culture is the difference in traditions, customs and habits is an absolute example of differences in local culture and foreign culture such as Indonesian people will salim (greetings) kiss their hands when meeting elders, in contrast to Koreans who submit 90 degrees of head and body when meeting elders, as youths need to be integrated with local culture and foreign culture but not by leaving our own culture, filtering all that is good into a pattern of life and neglecting what should not be done as an Indonesian society that has identity self

3. What is stereotype and prejuice ?  Does it exist in your local culture ? Give example !

Answer                                :

Stereotypes are assumptions or judgments about someone based on that person's social group, for example, Javanese people have soft speech, while Batak people have firm speech, while prejudice is an unfavorable opinion or opinion about something before knowing (investigating, witnessing) themselves. . For example: all Batak people are grumpy and all Chinese people are stingy as examples of prejudice. Stereotypes and prejudice exist in various elements of society, often Indonesian people are prejudiced and have different stereotypes, but this often creates cultural conflicts, which is why as young people and the successor of the Indonesian nation must eliminate the paradigm of stereotypes and prejudice.

1. What is media in teaching ? How many teaching media types do you know, explain !

Answer            :

I think media teaching is a tool used by teacher to help/facilitate a teacher in conveying messages ( sources ) of lerning to be taught so that students can better understand.

I know that there are 4 media in learning :

a.Printed technology media : the text is read linearly, the text is student-   oriented,information can be rearranged or rerranged by  the user,such as textbooks, modules, brochures, leaflets,pictures,and others

b. Technology media are media that can present moving images,colors and accompanied by explanations in the form of writting and sound, such as video,television,CD and others.

c. Combined yield technology is a means of producing and delivering material taht combines the use of several forms of computer-controlled media.Learning medi that will be made in this paper is computer-based learning media.

d. Media computer technology is computer-assisted teaching interactive video,hypertext.

2. Why teacher needs media in teaching

Answer            :

The media is needed by the teacher because the existence of the media will make it easier for a teacher to explain or teach his learning to students so that they can receive quickly,and understand especially at times like this,so surely the teacher really needs media tat makes students understand every lesson being taught over long distance

3. What are the criteria of good teaching media ?

Answer            :

a.  according to its purpose

b. The media used is practical,flexible and enduring

c. Support for learning materials,meaning that learning materials are facts,principles,concepts and generalizations

d. Ease in obtaining the media that will be used

e. Teacher skill in using it; teachers can use it in the learning process

f. There is time to use it

g. In according with the level of thinkingof students; so that the meaning contained there in is easy for students to understand

h. Technical quality,which means that  the media to be used must meet certain technical requirements.Teacher cannot simply determine learning media even though they have met the previous criteria.

4. Do you think that the teaching media needs to be developed why ?

Answer            :

In my opinion it is very necessary because in the world of learning media education as a source of student learning to obtain or receive learning from teachers and we know that the times are getting more advanced,especially in the field of technology,namely media in learning and in the future competition will also be stronger in producing quality students because of this.It requies better,quality media to help teachers and  students.
